System
integration can take any website to a higher level.
A website is only as good as its usefulness for a
company's day-to-day operations. It must go far
beyond a nice look that entices people to visit it.
It should also entice people to "interact"
with it.
Once a user interacts with the site, that data must
be sent to the back office and integrated into any
applicable systems and databases to facilitate
sharing of customer and prospect information.
By the
same token, prospects and customers may want to
access transaction information online rather than by
telephone.
Hence
through system integration, we tightly integrate the
websites and web applications we build with a
client's back office environment, allowing any
authorized company staff member to access, update
and perform tasks with that data. For example, a
marketing manager may want to access all customers
who purchased certain products online, analyze time
spent on the web site, and click through behavior.
This information can then be applied to relationship
marketing, up-sell or cross-sell campaign
development. |
